Currently based in the Francophone region of Switzerland and the French border region, focusing mainly on equine sports medicine and poor performance evaluation.

Prior to this, he further developed his orthopedic training working alongside Dr. B. Boyer (GVE Drocourt), gaining experience around Paris, Fontainebleau, and northern France, as well as several months as an intern at the Grosbois Equine Clinic.

He completed a specialized internship in orthopedics at the Sporthorse Medical Diagnostic Centre (SMDC) in the Netherlands in 2022–2023.

Before that, he worked as a junior veterinarian at the Sunshine Tour 2022 (Spain).

In 2020, he began his international training with a rotating internship at Equitom Equine Clinic (Belgium), a leading European referral hospital, where he developed a strong foundation in equine surgery and sports medicine.

In addition, Dr. Luis Martín completed the EGAS Course in Objective Gait Analysis (Utrecht University) in 2024, shortly before starting his work in France

Actuellement basé dans la région francophone de la Suisse et dans la région frontalière française, il se consacre principalement à la médecine du sport équin et à l’évaluation des contre-performances.

Auparavant, il a approfondi sa formation en orthopédie aux côtés du Dr B. Boyer (GVE Drocourt), avec une expérience autour de Paris, Fontainebleau et dans le nord de la France, ainsi que plusieurs mois en tant qu’interne à la clinique équine de Grosbois.

Il a effectué un internat spécialisé en orthopédie au Sporthorse Medical Diagnostic Centre (SMDC) aux Pays-Bas en 2022–2023.

Avant cela, il a travaillé comme vétérinaire junior au Sunshine Tour 2022 (Espagne).

En 2020, il a débuté sa formation internationale avec un internat rotatoire à la clinique équine Equitom (Belgique), un centre de référence européen, où il a acquis de solides bases en chirurgie équine et en médecine du sport.

Par ailleurs, le Dr Luis Martín a complété le cours EGAS d’analyse objective de la locomotion (Université d’Utrecht) en 2024, peu avant de commencer son activité en France.
